Procope Films is in post-production of their new documentary film ANDRE VILLERS – UNE VIE EN IMAGES.
The story of 82-year-old french photographer and visual artist André Villers whose mentor and friend was no less than Pablo Picasso.
Picasso gave then 23-year-old André his first Rolleiflex camera through which young André photographed Chagall, Dali, Miró, Buñuel, Fellini, Brassaï, Prévert, Cocteau, Le Corbusier…
But André is not only a photographer, his artistic quest extends from photogrammes, collages, cut-outs, fold-outs to colorful paper figures and more as seen in the recent exhibition at the Malmaison Museum in Cannes.
